"Simulation" Sound bug?

Ok so maybe this was posted before so sorry if so....

anyway simulation sound in the settings---sounds seems not have any effect (currently at 10% for me) setting it at 100 or whatever other number does not make any difference. this is on 1.1.49

not for me...will check if some mod is responsible for this but i don't think i have anything for that

nope...no mods,just cant figure it out even the config.ini is set to (simulation-volume=0.100000) everything seems fine as far as i can tell

If you post a clip of the issue you're having and your config, I can look further, but as far as I can tell the simulation volume setting is working correctly.
Just to be sure we're on the same page, the simulation volume refers to the main menu background simulations.

yes on the main menu...anyway i might have made a mistake...
so lowering or increasing "simulation sound" increases the effects of the entities and music is separated so now it's all good again (i did not know they where separated) so my mistake was assuming that lowering the simulation would also lower the music on the main menu
