I dont know why but if i click settings then mod settings then save. it reboots the game and deletes the exe. steam will then have to redownload it. i have also noticed my last few times i have saved hasnt actually saved. any ideas?

maybe some weird antivirus tool?

i disabled anti virus. but that doesn't explain why i can play the game fine, open and close it. but when i click settings - mod - and change the only mod i now have installed picked at random the game closes and deletes the exe. when i reload steam and down load the exe again and load it back up the setting hasn't changed and is back to default.

a whole evening later and i think i just fixed it

settings - others - logout (character name)

log back in .... that was it... afterall that.

What antivirus did you have?
