Low FPS in forest

Since v16 im going down in FPS in forest but only zoomed close

So its the 20 closeup steps (steps on my mousewheel) that are lagging 30fps, while zooming further out im getting full 60fps.

Whys that?

We have a Mipmap system, so that at larger zooms, it only has to render 1/2 -> 1/4 -> 1/8 sized sprites

However at some zoom levels, it is too far in to switch to these less detailed sprites, so the game has to render the higher resolution ones

We are working on a better system, that will split the trees and their shadows into separate graphics, which should help the situation

awesome, mipmap ,i found the option to disable mimmap trees that helped somewhat , but it was occasional soo..
