[1.0.0] Fish collect at the edges of active chunks over time

We are aware of them, but they have low priority. We have more important things to do. They go here in order not to take space in the main bug thread list.

[1.0.0] Fish collect at the edges of active chunks over time

Hey friends,
We noticed on our multiplayer vanilla server that fish are starting to pile up along chunk boundaries near our railways.
Our current hypothesis is that we have angered them in some way.

1. What did you do?
We have high traffic railways around a low traffic lake.

2. What happened?
Fish began forming geometric patterns on their own.

3. What did you expect to happen instead?
We expected the fish to not form lines.

Steps to reproduce:
Unknown, sorry!

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
I checked my singleplayer worlds and it is happening there too - it's just much less obvious until you are looking for it.
