Loaders slower than belts on same tier

Hi,

im using 3 mods to spicen up the transport belts:
- loader redux
- bobs logistics
- double speed belts.

using them brings the last tier of belts up to 240 items/s - way to fast to see even the belt moving.
Sad, but i could work with that.

The bug is, that the loader from this tier cant keep up with one belt. i would need two of them to handle the input.
as seen here:

it works fine on all other tiers, so i wonder if this is a limitation of factorio, or something that could be fixed by the mod authors.

Thank you

edit: savegame available - if needed.

Loaders cannot load 240 items per second

Hi devs!

Can you please check if it real my mistake or the vanilla loaders was broken?

The problem is that loaders insert only one item at the end of the transport line per tick, so the loader throughput is limited to 1 item per tick per transport line. I want to improve this (including making them bit more UPS friendly), but probably not before 1.0

the 'also' linked thread is nonexistent now, but also, wanted to bump this since now we're post 1.0.
