The last time I played was with 10.x version. Yesterday I downloaded the 11.10 version and what occurred to me immediately is that the game was quite laggy, or choppy, or jerky somehow. Mind you, actually the game itself is smooth. But when I start walking it seems as if the scrolling of the game is connected to the new walking animation and feels unsmooth somehow. Before when I walked around the game would follow extremely smoothly (I also have a very powerful 3930K @4GHz, so it should be smooth.)

Can I do anything to help analyze this further?

TL;DR It bothers me too and it will get fixed.

Hi, I saw that other topic, too, but decided to create a new topic due to these reasons:

- any 10.x version does not have this stuttering on my system
- the description of the stuttering doesn't really match "my" stuttering. My stuttering seems like walking runs with about 10fps, but only when walking. (I will build something that animates, like a belt, and make sure of that observation later when I come home today).

By the way, awesome game you guys are doing. I think this can't be said often enough.

Yes because we had to rewrite the way the update/render threads cooperate because of multiplayer.

Weird, today that stuttering is gone. Apparently restarting my computer fixed it.

Here I thought my computer also belongs to the deterministic sort of computer. But apparently it already joined the ranks of gremlin infested undead computers.

I had same issue, I believe that turning V-sync off fixed it.
