[0.17.25] Cannot load save - Error while running event level::on_load()

[0.17.25] Cannot load save - Error while running event level::on_load()
During loading a save created some time ago in version 0.17.15-1 (I'm currently running 0.17.25) from what I can see in UI, I got this error:
From what I recall, it was a standard free-play game and I started messing with the trains, trying to figure out signals and intersections, after that, I cannot load the game, autosaves don't work either.

Replacing control.lua file helped. Thank you for your help and sorry for posting a duplicate.
