[0.17.1] Blank blueprint/deconstruction planner inconsistent inventory behavior

When using a blank blueprint, but changing your mind and not actually creating a blueprint (select stuff to blueprint, then hit E key or ESC key, and then Q key out of it), it still drops a blank blueprint into inventory.
When using a deconstruction planner, it doesn't drop a blank blueprint into inventory anymore.
If a decision has to be made, I would very much vote for blueprints behaving similarly to deconstruction planners, because it's always been a nuisance not being able to delete blank blueprints (or, I've never figured it out over the years).
Also, creating a customized deconstruction planner doesn't seem straight-forward anymore. I had to think about it and drag a deconstruction planner into my inventory, which I've not done before. Since they disappear after single-use, maybe it could open the customization GUI when it's selected, and then offer and explain the option of it functioning to remove any and everything if nothing is customized?
