[Small aside: I really wish the topic length on this forum was longer for better bug report titles]
This is probably a duplicate of [0.16.7, OSX] Crash when nesting blueprints ("Fixed in next version of 0.16"), but I"m posting it since it's just different enough where I'd rather risk a duplicate bug report than a bug going unnoticed.
Setup: I'm cloning+modifying an existing blueprint book -- essentially I'm placing each blueprint, making some changes, and placing the updated replacement blueprint in a new blueprint book. One of the blueprints required no changes, so I did the following:
1. Select the old blueprint book.
2. Shift-mousewheel to the blueprint in question
3. Right-click the new blueprint book
4. Click any blueprint in that book to try to place the blueprint I'm holding
5. Factorio crashes.
By sheer coincidence, the game autosaved just before the crash -- so the attached (modded) autosave is one click before crashing.
