[16.2] Compressed corner decompressing partially

After a belt is compressed beyond normal by rotating a corner, it'll decompress in a weird manner. The stack only gets decompressed partially.

I spotted this yesterday in a factory I started in multiplayer vanilla 0.16.0 (and still no mods have been added), and I do not know under what conditions it occurs.
This is the only time I've seen it happen, and the gear factory is one that has been running since very early in the playthrough. It is potentially related to the item creep bug? viewtopic.php?t=54693

Could be caused by: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=54606, but I would assume it should decompress and not move forward in the compressed state. Ill let this open for now.

The way belts move items now nothing ever decompresses except when being side-loaded. It's the same thing.

Yes, I just did some testing with this, and it seems to have probably originated from something along these lines, but the decompression is indeed very weird, so I'm going to rename the topic to indicate that's what's happening.

Kinda sheds a different light on the concept of full compression :)

... I'll hopefully not give in, but must confess it's tempting to look into how this could be exploited for better factories.

It requires manual interaction to make it happen.
