[16.0]Sprites dissapear

While filing my last report, I hit the escape key to bring up the menu and pause the game, then I ended up locking my computer and coming back an hour later, and when I did, some sprites had disappeared!
You may not believe it, but this is a picture of me standing to the right of some steam engines. The images for the engines are gone,except for the pipe connections. My image is also gone, except it looks like a couple of sprites from the tree chopping animation are still there, as I saw myself for a few frames while chopping trees. My player light still works so at night I'm just a floating flash light.
