[15.30] Two ore types share same tile

Post by warlordship »

I've discovered a large coal deposit that spawned on top of an iron deposit. As I was being careful not to overlap my miner to get any iron with my coal miners, I noticed that there is a single spot that is giving iron that isn't supposed to. I looked closely, and by mousing over all 25 spots for the electric miner they all state coal as the output. But as seen here:

The miner is still picking up iron. Looking closely, there is what appears to be a single iron ore chunk right in the middle of the intersection of 4 squares. Again, all 4 tiles state they are coal. Well, after looking closer, and running the mouse over it all, I discovered a single pixel in which I can highlight an iron square that is sitting UNDERNEATH the coal square. The following screenshots are taken after having moved my mouse literally one pixel:

The single pixel is a square-wide, one pixel tall, along the top of the coal pixel. To reproduce, move the mouse near the top of selecting the coal piece pictured. Very slowly move the mouse upwards, one pixel at a time, until the selection square suddenly changes to selecting a slightly off-set square. Notice the detail pane on the right now showing a square that has 507 iron ore in it.
