Normally when the game crashed in the past, I know what I have done that was probably the cause. But this time I have no clue why the game crashed.
The only thing I can definitely say, is I was just maximizing the factorio window. When looking at the error log (attached), there was an SegFault happening in that code.

So the steps I have done were:
I updated a mod, because there was an incompatibility between angel's and bob's mods (playing with both)
Loading the attached save
Opening Inventory and looking for a recipe.
Opening an assembler and inserting something in it.
Then I maximized the window and the game crashed.
I think something opened on the screen, but I'm unsure what it was, maybe I opened the Inventory or it could also have been an autosave happening in just that moment.

I hope this is helpful in finding the cause of the crash. But anyway you're doing an awesome work!

I can't see how this fix is related, but of course you know your code better than me. And as a programmer myself I know how two very different symptoms can be caused by the same bug.

Ah, you are right. I linked wrong report. It was supposed to be this one 46069
