Persisting sound effect - space rocket launch

I start to launch empty space rocket. I can hear the sound effect of rocket engines. Everything is ok.
I hit ESC while the sound is being played (the sound is paused - everything ok), i hit "load", then i load a game/or quit game to main menu.
I can still hear the rocket being launched while there is no rocket on my screen that is being launched (not to mention there are no rockets in the main menu of the game). That is not ok.
