A server that I used to play on recently broke so that it instantly desyncs when I connect. That's a different bug.
No, the issue is that I can't abort a map load while connecting to a multiplayer game. Since loading can take tens of seconds, if not minutes, they need to be abortable. I might change my mind while waiting. Or I might get fed up with constant desync loads. But either way, it's a time consuming operation that should be possible to abort.
