What happened: I had recently started an new game. I played for a bit, saved the game and when I quit the message came up.
factorio current text file attached, plus dump and save game.

Thanks for pointing out that thread.
So, its now October 2024.
The problem has now existed for 14 months.
If I understand the thread posts correctly AMD are doing nothing to resolve the problem, and apparently deny any problem exists. The one long response from AMD boils down to reset everything / uninstall and reinstall.
Factorio say its is up to AMD to fix.
Meantime the crashes continue.

All I know is the only game that I play that has this problem is Factorio.
Also my current machine is a new replacement... newly installed drivers, uptodate bios etc. Using Gigabyte B650| 7800X3D | RX 7900 XT GPU| 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 CL30 | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360.

Is Factorio saying they have never experienced the problem either? None of the influencers or LAN party folk ever had the problem? There is no test PC at Factorio to work this issue?

Further to my last post - it did not take long to crash again.

I tried to send the dump I generated via the task manager but get :

Together with the files requested by the error dialog plus the save game file.
Note this is a different save game to that initially reported. Same crash though.

I will try sending you a link the the task manager dump file.... here is the link ...https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SbIkgQ ... drive_link

No need for any uploads, the only thing of interest would be a reliable way to produce the crash, as in: do this, do that -> crash, every single time.
