Fast inserter research picture shows filter inserters.
The research picture for fast inserters still shows filter (purple) inserters, even though those don't exist anymore:

Related: the technology description also still implies that filters are unlocked by this technology, despite that filters are now available on burner inserters from the very start of the game.
