[0.16.36] lines in tile textures when zoomed out

[0.16.36] lines in tile textures when zoomed out

desert sand with horizontal lines:

solid grey texture with vertical lines:
Image

This only happens when zoomed very far out.

I'm playing on a Mac, OSX 10.12, Intel Iris GPU.
