The sooner we get some closure on version 1.0, the sooner we can start thinking about fun and exciting new things.
New things in Factorio or a completely different project?
While I would like to see new stuff for Factorio I also understand that working on a single project for so long can be... difficult I guess.

Congrats! It's great (and rare) when software runs ahead of schedule.
I've heard of CDPR (Witcher games), and maybe I live under a rock, but I haven't heard of Cyberpunk 2077 at all.
I just looked it up, and it looks like it's probably got a heavy Deus Ex inspiration. Modern/future modern RPGs set in a land of profanity and cruelty are not up my alley.

Wise decision not getting interfered by the CP2075 launch.
Also glad to hear, that fluid dynamics and GUI rewrite (presumably BP-Book) are only delayed.
1.0 is overdue, the project reached that state Long ago.
I would love to see new official content (be ist as expansion or whatever) for Factorio!

Saving:
- Old = 285.429s
- New = 2.847s
That is an insane speed improvement.
Also, that old save time is absolutely ridiculous. Almost 5 minutes to save?? I don't think I've ever had a map go over 30s before.

The Prototype GUI seems like an incredible asset to provide the modding community. I thought we had some incredible mods already, but I'm looking forward to what comes after this tool has been added.
I'd also like to say Thank You to the whole team for such incredible support you show the modding community. Though I'm sure you hear that a lot. Haha.

but one thing id like to say:

and i will be grinding Factorio when that releases !

Gonna be epic when Cyberpunk inevitably honors its tradition of never releasing and shunts itself into 2021.
Well I guess if you know you're gonna make it without adjusting your current rate of development, it shouldn't really matter. Except to all the people whose window of opportunity to snag the game for its current price just shrunk a little.

An idea (and at the same time: a wish) for Marketing is to do a Wallpaper-Engine-version of the rocket-rider in the FF.

Is the image "inspired" by "Dr. Strangelove - or how I learnt to love the bomb?"

We won't be increasing the price with 1.0 launch.

The sooner the better
The general feeling in the office is that the game is pretty much done, and that we want to get it released as soon as possible. The sooner we get some closure on version 1.0, the sooner we can start thinking about fun and exciting new things.
By fun and exciting things I hope you mean " the new campaign,
fluid algorithm improvements, and the full GUI rewrite". Don't even think about shirking that. I spent half the time playing the game by having to make Blueprints because the in-game BP editor sucks balls and the other half annoyed by the slow down caused by fluid pipes code screwing up the CPU speed.
So get it done for 1.1!

Love the progress! Lots of great features.
Looking forward to see if I find any changes from the proofreading, and I hope you can get some of those fluid processing improvements!

They promised to finish the work on fluid dynamics after 1.0. The hype on fluid dynamics started before 0.17 and initially they hoped to put it in 0.17.0. But they postponed it every single time. Which is not a bad thing. The new game mechanics may add new bugs and we do not want delaying 1.0 once again.

And it all works perfectly.
Things you should never say in software development; or, famous last words.
postponed the fluid improvements
Promising...
