I personally can not wait for the endgame content, keep up the great work guys! :)

It's great you take all the bugs that serious. Bugfixing is really no fun, but so very much important. Thanks for all your effort to present us a great game!

Do you guys have any information about how the steam keys are going to get distributed? I assume per mail? Would be nice to know
anyway, keep up the good work!

You can convert your factorio account into a steam key later.

Yeah, hardly any.
I hope proper winter weather won't be skipped this year (again).

Cold, bah it was -23 C (-11 F for us heathens in the US) this week in the morning.

Keep up the great work guys. It is appreciated and these updates are excellent on keeping us abreast at what is happening. So far I have gotten 3 more people playing the game. Now to get more.

Really curious to see how you plan on the space station end game going and really hope it costs massive loads of resources.

@"Freezing"

Going from 25 degrees to 0 degrees in couple of hours somehow screws one's perception of temperature :D

I'm pretty sure it's one of these:

i.e. the Czech edition of the Book of Mormon. So the guy giving the package was probably a Mormon from Texas (I'm also LDS, so recognized it). We have a longstanding habit of giving the book to people we like.

I really love to read the updates, I absolutly love the game - so thank you for making it :!:

My thoughts on the endgame content is that it will be nice to have a control room / 2D view that will save me the running all over the factory ( although I don't build that big yet - not like other youtubers I've seen), but still have the ability to go back to running all over and building factories and killing / collecting aliens.

I don't care much for a "go out to space and conquer other planets" or the "trade materials with other worlds" themes, I'd rather like to see an actual landing of support or supplies or maybe a continued colonization. For me, the whole idea of building a factory and maintaining a supply chain is the appeal this game has.

For continued colonization, there could be a need for other more complex buildings (for studying the aliens, for instance) that will give more play time (not that my current play time is short - over 10 hours for each map - it's so griping :) )

Everyone is like "wow it's not even cold there wtf devs" or "what is mormon"

Completely ignoring
tileable "terrain" for the spaceship platform
Image

Confirmed

EDIT: Wow I'm so late, it only just clicked for me. Not sure if I'm the only one to be so late on this but here goes anyway.

Remember that old sketch?

Image

How did I never notice that belt! It makes so much sense now... It's a space platform. Space is literally a new level where the land is literally chunks of metal floating in space. The sketch is capturing an edge of the platform with engines underneath. It's like Columbia from Bioshock Infinite... In space.

So where's my medal again? The guy who meant to bring it was running late? Just like me? Oh well.

The idea of platforms in space is not as recent as you might think.... ;)
