Near the bottom of the FFF 265 page, there's a link to a Google form with a comment to publish the results later. I wonder if this is what Jon8RFC is referring to?

Am I imagining that there was more to it than just FFF 275 and "we're renaming these"?
Are the survey results available somewhere I'm not seeing? It'd be fun to take a look at that again.

That sounds like a reddit thing to me. Or possibly someone made polls here on the forum.

If you reread the FFF 265 the Paragraph "Who should change it?" has a (now dead) link to the former survey.
How could you forget it.

The results were never posted publicy and got lost as the creator left the dev team.
