0.11.2 is planned to be released next week (probably thursday, as we want to move the release date to thursday).

As a guess, I would say because that leaves friday to fix any game-breaking issues and gives the devs the chance to enjoy an occasional normal weekend

Why that?
Well, think about it: if they release Thursday, they have another day after to check before the weekend if everything is working correctly, and I guess it's much better to have Friday for possible hotfixes and such. A release before a weekend is always a bit if a risk.
At least that's what I think is happening
