How would you describe the way that the science packs end up in the silo?
I can wait to give all of this a try next week.
The description is the same as for the way of constructing LIQUID "science packs" (look at its icons) using complex items. Science packs are just a metaphor. Of course, it's just units of some data from the orbit or so - imagine!

Devs, you're great! Thanks a lot!

Wow I am so excited for .15. You guys have done an amazing job with everything. It looks fantastic, thank you so much.

I have a question though I hope I can get answered. The mining drill shown in the nuclear power pic, the one with fluid input, is that a new mining drill just for mining uranium? Is it the new model for the old mining drill? Is it a mid game upgrade to the normal mining drill? Is it something I can't even begin to imagine? :D

Gotta make sure I get my weekly errands done by Tuesday now...

There is still just one electric mining drill, these graphics only show up when you build it over uranium ore.

Time for a mod to add reusable rocket tech infinite science, gradually increasing the chance of successful rocket recovery and re-use... ;)
If someone does this, I kinda hope it includes a "boat" vehicle that needs to be place in water somewhere to the right/east of the rocket factory...

What is the specs on the machine running the linked imgur album factory? o.o

And can we get that factory released to the public? I really want to see will/xterm/mojo do a factory fixit on the factory :D
This would be awesome! Will have to ask them about getting a copy of the save for a Refactorizing episode once 0.15 is out. :D

I don´t know about my reaction to reading that FFF. I am a bit confused. I started reading it and first I was focused, then I started getting a bigger and bigger grin on my face with only a minor side thought of please prioritise high res inserters before slapping myself in the cheek. Then I went on to be floor jawed about the beautiful screenshots and the quite functional looking map. Then I read the last few lines of text. I spontaneously started laughing out loud on my chair while at the same time I realized I had tears coming out of my eyes as well. Goddamnit why have you made such a perfect game that raises such emotions?!?

Since I bought Factorio almost one year ago it is still my favorite game that I play. What amazes me is that new content is still beeing provided even that game in current shape is better than many AAA titles. Great job!

But what happens when I build a mining drill over both uranium and say iron ore. Will it still produce iron ore? Will it only produce iron ore if I don't hook up acid? And both ores if I hook it up?

I believe they've mentioned that the minimum yield from fields has been raised which should help some.
Oil yield has been increased significantly and is usually no longer a big problem.
minimum yield as in the depleted yield is higher or more that the starting yield tends to be a lot higher but it still ends up at current depleted level?

Who here can wait to kill themselves with a Nuclear Rocket?

Xterminator better be recording 100% of the time after that is researched.

"Since mining uranium requires sulfuric acid, we needed to add a new patch for pipe connection. The acid flows between neighbouring miners, so you only need to bring pipes to the edge ones."

i would really, really, really, REALLY love it if this could be modified for factories requiring liquid assets too (not chem plants, just factories). the aggravation of piping to each factory is one of my few pet peeves about factory building and expansion.

Greetings, V 0.15 Speed Run coming Tuesday. I will down load it, set my key bindings, then “blind” speed run it :)

In the past versions I have done under 4 hr any%. 25 hr 15 min 100% achievements, and been part of the under 2 hr run in MP.

Looking forward to the new version, setting some new records, and then going for the mega base to break the game 10K science per minute. “Build more faster double it” Colonel Will.

Thanks all I will see you next time.
