I think you've gone the wrong way on the difficulty settings. You call them:
"Basic Settings" and "Advanced Settings"
but more reasonably these should be called "Advanced Settings" and "You won't have a clue what these mean until you've played at least 20 hours Settings".
I suggest adding a "Basic settings" screen which contains basic settings like:
Easy, Normal, Hard
where all of the more granular settings are selected for the user on a set of standard maps which have been designed to fit the difficulty level. Rename the other two settings screens. Make the newest one unlock after a player completes the game.
