Jackielope wrote:I wouldn't recommend having armors themselves give inventory space, unless the armor research itself gave space that was permanent and totally independent of the armor.
It could also be something where the extra inventory slots are hidden until the player first puts on the armor, which then permanently unlocks the slots given by the armor, rather than being solely due to research. In that case, you would have to put the effort into crafting the armor to get the inventory bonuses.

Ok, I inserted a rail into the "crane" image, and it fits. So, I definitely think it is a train station.

So there was this long discussion about "if 0.13´will have tank wagons" maybe "the crane" is a liquid pump for trains.

I do the light with grayer atachment preview. I think it can be better smaller or rotated.

There is suspicious amount of wires around the rails. My guess that this would be more like counting/redirecting station for trains, or cargo reader. It also might be rail power connector, for electrical train engines?

(Time 9%)(Pollution 57%)(Spawner kills 32%)
9+57+32 = 98 So what could be the fourth affecting thing that does 2% :o!?

Really looking forward to this update :)!

From my previous post:
lrb2_ wrote:I was also curious as to what the crane-like thing is... I can see how it could be train-related because there are two empty vertical lines to the left of the crane tower that could be for rails.
[quote="y.petremann"]This is the new graphics for the train stations
If it is a specialized train station, rather than a sensor of some sort, I wonder how it is animated and what advantages it has the current (0.12) fast inserters... :?:[/strike]

EDIT: Thinking of the wrong type of train station. It's actually similar to the current "Train Stop," but also reads contents. It was rather vaguely described in FFF 138:

Probably rounding errors: results are most likely truncated. Originally it could be something like 9.5 + 57.8 + 32.7

Gotta connect your walls to the circuit network :P

Is there going to be a blueprint book in 0.13? That would save a lot of inventory space

That is quite possible :)

Yes, the book is in 0.13, that was confirmed a few Friday Facts ago.

Wait, what does a circuit box do on a cement wall? o.O
Edit: Oh, it's beside a gate.

Darn, I was thinking we could read the damage on a wall segment or something.

On the first look, the "crane" does indeed look like a crane. However, the two "buttons" on its arm could also be lights - Which could just visually symbolize the state of the "internal" signal which is already included into train stops e.g. just show if the train can leave the station right now or not.

That new station/crane thing would be awesome as refillstation for railtankers. So that it is filled from the top.

For Rails, you should keep curent mining time, but reduce the mining time to 10% if we mine the rail in the 30s after we put them.

"We get little bit further in the technology tree every day as we play our multiplayer playtest game, it always uncovers few bugs or desyncs which we fix immediately so we can continue playing."

Did anyone else laugh when they read this?

What is it?! We must know! It looks to me like maybe it's for loading fluid wagons?

So, if armor is able to add more inventory slots does that mean modders will be able to increase the inventory size mid game now like through research? If so that is awesome!

From the GFX wiki, this is placed under the train station section DOT FINAL ...

Nice to hear about the changes! Sometimes it's the little things that make me super happy like more inventory space with armor, and more detailed info about evo factor. :D

I will keep my fingers crossed for a release hopefully next week! Good luck with any other bugs/fixes until then.
