I know, significantly late, but can we wait a little longer for the Fluid railcar to be ready?

That's basically what the FFF says :
Stuff that had to be postponed to 0.14, so we can deliver the rest:
[...]
Fluid wagon

Yeah, it's clear and DaemosDaen realizes it - read carefully: he just agrees to wait for 0.13 a bit longer to make fluid wagon have time to fit in update.
And I support his position. I'd rather wait a bit longer as well. I'm really looking forward to tanker. And if it's delayed to 0.14 - we probably won't see it a year longer...

//And yes, I'm aware of Rail Tanker mod. And no, I won't use it. I'm principled vanilla player.

Owww sorry, I understood that the other way, like "please delay the Fluid railcar".
OK I'm the one stupid here :) (and I fully understand your vanilla-principles).

Wow, that's really can be easily understood like that, now I see it : D
However that doesn't makes much sense to ask devs "not to hurry" with smth)) (makes some, but really not much))

Tank wagon is not so urgent because we already have worked mods with it.
One is Rail Tanker Mod and second Yuoki Industries - Railways Mod.

There's great mods out there that already have some of the stuff you guys are going to add (flamethrower turret and the fluid train).
It would be AWESOME if the gamedevs could have a little time here and there to just look over some of the mods, ask the mod creators for permission and just put the whole mod into the game!

In my opinion that would be a great idea! And you can list the mod creators somewhere special. I mean it'd be an honor if a mod that I would've created were to become official game content!
(surely not all modders share that opinion but the least you can do is ask right?!)

Keep up the great work! I've got this game for 1.5 months now and already have 150+ playhours.......totally addicted!!!

Yes, I know but what I meant was that if we have two features and one is already in mod, then the second one have higher priority and first one will wait to next release.

Well, it's a difference - if you've made something with help. or by yourself, even inspired by something existing. I see Wube want to make the game, that is created by them, not a collection of other people's creations. And that's completely okay.
As a bonus to feeling of done job, they also get control on the creation, since if you've done something by yourself - you should know how does it work, so any revealed issues will be fixed much quicker.

Also when you make something by yourself - there won't be ever copyright issues.

Also some modders may not like the idea their job might be quite distorted while implementing and balancing. In this case their "feeling of done job" may be hurt.

Yes, the idea looks great at first look, but there're quite few downsides.

Moved further away, so we are able to complete the game in reasonable time. It might come later or part of an expansion (but no promises).

Is anyone else hoping for a pipe upgrade that lets you place adjacent pipes without connecting them, to help out with tight refinery layouts?
