I only started reading at around #60 and I have come to love and enjoy the weekly updates and the roughly correct English. :D
I've been playing EVE Online since 2007. I'm used to dev blogs written in imperfect English by now.
Gandalf wrote:The Icons look awesome. I'm a little sad for the colourful circuit icons though, I always liked the saturated green, red and blue lines in my factory.
It's my impression that those icons are meant only for the Tech Tre, and not to be used to represent the physical items.

I like the Dieselpunk/RetroTech theme of Factorio, and I think the devs and their graphic designers ought to stick with it and celebrate it.

Congratulations!

It would be really nice if you made the new trailer 4k 60fps :)

Oh and I love the new tech icons, can't wait to see the new tech tree system

The tech pictures look amazing and I can't wait to see them in the game :) (couldn't figure out the chemistry one - is that plastic or oil ? - maybe not use such vague symbols ?)

I made a day-time rocket launch in the Hebrew version (that I combined with my introduction of the game in Hebrew) and I think it's a great idea to make a new trailer to show off the new graphics and parts. Maybe for steam you can show both videos so people will see the changes (you could add a date caption to each so they know which came first)

On another note - When a green-lite game like Besiege gives an announcement like that, there is no reason not to put Factorio on steam greenlight right now, IMHO.

here's a preview of it:

Just to clarify: we are not going to do a new trailer. The current one actually took couple of months of work and now is not a good time to do that again. Also content-wise the current trailer is still perfectly relevant.
A couple of months of work for that trailer? Really? Kinda hard to believe :)
And to tell you the truth, that "new" trailer isn't that great IMO.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1qOCAM9Syw I find the old trailer way better. Wouldn't it be a good idea to also update it? (record again but using the newest version). It dosen't look too complicated so it wouldn't take much time, and having two trailers is better than having one, right?

Command and Conquer Red alert 2. Looks like the Yuri's Revenge expansion specifically.

Though the image url notes it comes from a modding community.

Actually its a little faulty molecule of Caffeine ;)!
(missing a bound between two carbon atoms and a single hydrogen atom)

The colourisation of the one in the specific screenshot looks like the Yuri faction colours version, The golds give it away. Soviets would use "Red brick" browns, and silvery coloured metals, not gold.

Why are you attributing that quote to yourself, and not to me, when I was the one who wrote it?

Since you are everyone, shouldn've you said
"I wrote all the comments, not me." instead?

PS: this is just useless text. So it would be offtopic anywhere I'd say.

I did it entirely in order to spite you and totally not by mistake.
