But I do not agree that the capture of the Crimea was the main operation. If there had been no revolution in Kyiv and Yanukovych would have been the president, there would have been no point in seizing Crimea. As this would destroy the rating of the pro-Kremlin president of Ukraine.

No one is solving your problems. All wars are about resources and zones of influence (all other just a reasons for people).

For pro-Ukrainians there was a prison in Donetsk, for pro-Russians there was a prison in Mariupol. All that can be done is to express sympathy for the prisoners of both prisons.

Did you see what lies Russian state media outlets are writing about the war? More places writing about it may tell more Russians what's actually going on.
