Looking forward to a directed freeplay campaign. I know how to do everything, but still prefer some sort of list of suggestions, which this sounds like it will do nicely.
Regarding the L3 assemblers, I say give all assemblers 3 cogs but make it so only 1 is white on Assembler 1's, 2 are white on Assembler 2's and all 3 are white on Assembler 3's. Just to make people angrier.
And announce fluid physics is delayed until 0.19

Nah, they just need to switch from Cogswell Cogs to Spacely Sprockets. Everything will then work properly.5thHorseman wrote: βFri Apr 19, 2019 7:12 pm Regarding the L3 assemblers, I say give all assemblers 3 cogs but make it so only 1 is white on Assembler 1's, 2 are white on Assembler 2's and all 3 are white on Assembler 3's. Could you guys Please make the icons of the Crafting Categories in the Inventory more minimalistic and readable?
I always have a hard time and fumble around before i click the category i'm looking for.
Also, why don't you guys add customizable inserters as an upgrade? I know there's a mod for it but... it's not official.

Am I stupid, what is the dotted high contrast plate? Just a color test item, or a spider-tron part?

Please let the new campaign be multiplayer. It is a much more fun way of introducing people who are new.

Yeah the second player can impersonate Compilatron.

tbh, that new icon for the power posts looks like a mess on the belt in any resolution. The old one has a very defined shape that is easily recognizable in any size above 8px (and at that size you only see colors anyway).

I'm looking forward to the HR icons feature.
I won't be redoing all my mod icons, but I can make use of the HR function where I have them in higher resolutions.

I'm in a queue for a stress test server now, but it only states "xx Players Waiting" but not my position in the queue, so the xx keeps increasing with no feedback on the actual progress in the queue... Maybe make that a "You're player X in a queue of Y" type of message instead?

Yes, that please.Versimpeld wrote: βSat Apr 20, 2019 7:54 pm I'm in a queue for a stress test server now, but it only states "xx Players Waiting" but not my position in the queue, so the xx keeps increasing with no feedback on the actual progress in the queue... The 64 pixel unisize icons seem to look more crisp than the mipmapped versions in any resolution (even when scaled down to 8 pixels).

Yeah, but let's be honest here: if you're belting power poles, the icon fidelity is the least of your worries, because you're doing something very wrong to begin with. Put them straight into a chest like how RNGesus intended!Henry Loenwind wrote: βSat Apr 20, 2019 2:56 pm tbh, that new icon for the power posts looks like a mess on the belt in any resolution. Power pole icons are also very hard to discern on assemblers and chests.KoblerMan wrote: βTue Apr 23, 2019 8:26 pmYeah, but let's be honest here: if you're belting power poles, the icon fidelity is the least of your worries, because you're doing something very wrong to begin with.
