looks like fun, feel like a n00b, but where do i place the folder?
If i put it in scenarios, it creates a new random world, not the one you created.
If i load it as a save game, i get The Island I map, an old savegame with loads of machinery

put them in the scenarios folder.
then run game, play, custom scenario, click on 'ialand_hoping_2' then create and fave fun.
i have some bugs to fix.

Ok, it works now :) Don't have much time to play, but i found the first chest ;)

There's oil in the starting area, under the trees, and a bit further on as well.

tried it, and looks nice.

a small problem though:
when playing your map, together with my mod, there is no sand (or lava in v2) anywhere. this can easily be fixed
make the map with my mod (or any mod that adds resources) and upload that. the mod is not needed, so if the game doesnt detect the mod, all entities are deleted from the world and the player would be none the wiser. this gives players, who work with resource based mods, the ability to use those resources

This is not a problem, just use in your initial migration script

With the map's resources generated like that, you might not want to "regenerate" a resource.

Obviously. But it is useful anyway. Better then searching through ugenerated parts of map to find mod resources :)

the free-bes are there so you donot have to pick at Stone with your pole.

May be wooden chest? It is already near free :)
Or unminable ship part.
Items scattered on ground looks just roughly.

I don't know if this is intended, but the biters are friendly, can't shoot them, or the bases..

Even without mods when shooting them with the c key they only get "hurt" by 1 hp in a few seconds. You spill a whole mag on 1 hp of a medium biter?
Also the biters don't chase you when you run away from them, only when you get close. They don't even attack the industries, only my walls.

Any chance to repair the friendly biters ?
They are destroying my oil industry and my turrets are ignoring that fact. :(

play it in 0.10.9 seams to work for me.

if you have the map open it in 0.10.9 editor save it as a new file and then play it.

update 3 is up

10h in to a game on this map it works ok
