[1.0.0] Crash/Lockup at "loading mods" step

Log attached. It has happened several times in a row, I have to use task manager to force close the game. The loading progress bar doesn't progress at all.
Last entry in log file is
DSound: Enter _dsound_update; tid=1804
Had to reboot PC so I could play the game.
Appears to always happen after the bug reported at viewtopic.php?f=7&t=88065 occurs.
