Can't switch to full screen mode.

Acer XB270HU (2560x1440 - 144hz - G-Sync - primary)
Acer B233HU (2048x1152 - 60hz - secondary)
OCZ Trion 150 480GB (installed to this drive)

Steam overlay enabled, default install location, cloud sync enabled.

Hi, did it crash once or does it crash every time? Does it also crash if you resize or maximize window?
Could you please test this scenario:

• 1) start game and in graphics options select Screen 2
  2) exit Factorio
  3) start Factorio again and switch to fullscreen

I am trying to determine if it crashes only if it tries to go to fullscreen on G-sync/144hz monitor.

Crashes every time.

I reinstalled the game and deleted everything in the Factorio appdata folder so it would regenerate the default configs.

Selecting screen 2 and restarting results in the game opening on screen 1 (still windowed). Setting full screen then going 'back' causes the game to hang and requires it to be closed forcefully. Opening the game again lets it open normally in fullscreen on screen 2. Once in fullscreen selecting screen 1 allows it to open in fullscreen on screen 1 normally. Selecting windowed mode (while in fullscreen on screen 1) causes the game to hang and requires a force close.

You can make it go fullscreen on screen 1 by editing the config so it starts in fullscreen mode.

In other words, it is the act of switching between full screen and windowed modes that causes the problem on this monitor (both ways)

Tested in 0.12.25 and it still happens except now the error claims I am using some form of monitoring software which simply isn't the case.

I haven't managed to reproduce the issue, I made blind fix in function that crashed, but I suspect it is more like treating symptoms that fixing actual cause. When 0.12.27 is released, could you try if the issue is fixed, please?
