Specific Map Terrains

I'm new here, but I've been playing Factorio for a few hundred hours. However, I was curious if there were any mods that could make the map a specific type. For example, make a map that's all desert, all grass, or perhaps a snow map. I may only be one of a small handful of people who'd like to see something like this, but it could make for some interesting playthroughs. Now, I don't know how the map generation works, and I have no experience with modding anything, so I'd have to leave this to someone else to figure out/work on. Anyways, thanks for any responses.
