To-do checklist, multiplayer objectives?

I find my friends often joining my games and wondering what I'm working on, or need to work on in the future, so I'm thinking of something to keep track of what needs to be done.
It should be usable in single-player, but aimed at coordinating multi-player efforts.
Admin/host should be able to strike off things that are completed and no longer need work.
Possibly make the admin/host able to delegate/assign tasks to certain users? (show their name next to the task in the list?)
Anyone else think this would be a good addition?
