Ok, *Smile* I'm happy to help out and contribute with any of my ideas being turned into a working mod, just ask.

I am a person who occasionally codes (HTML, C#, SQL, JAVA, ect.), but am absolutely crap at art. If you can get some nice art (just request it on the forums) I would love to give a shot at your ideas (I really like a lot of them).

I made an attempt at the inline crafting idea some time ago but failed. I am interested to see if someone else can get it to work.

I can knock up some of the pixel art myself the pipes shouldn't be too difficult and I could modify the conveyer belt splitters easily enough with some sort of symbol for the sorters and swappers. I'm not good enough to do the hightech armour modules or the inline crafting, just let me know what you want to do and I'll knock something temporary up until we get some offical art

2x2 Follower robot dispensers which allows a vehicle to dipence follower robots, along with allowing vehicles to keep their own followers, the limit like player robot counts can be increased by research from 5 to well the limit needs testing.
I made a mod that does a similar thing, but for the player instead of vehicles...but i feel it helps towards the same goal. viewtopic.php?f=97&t=24545
It fully automates the deployment of destroyer drones (capsules).

I had the inline assembler idea entirely separately, and my implementation is a little on the kludgy side but works well enough. It's also limited (by design moreso than limitation) to one kind of items per input belt, and at most three-ingredient recipes (and only the one-ingredient is currently implemented).

The easiest way to make an Conver-belt crafter would be to make a super-fast assembler (like 24x speed or so) and use loaders.

Essentially the same as this, but as a assembler.
Its so much fun.

Heres a quick and dirty conversion. Not done, not good, but it works.

Probably doesn't work with liquids, not sure.

Ran a loader, fed it iron and gears, and got yellow belts excessively fast out of it.
