Day length

Ok so I've seen some mods that change day length before but I do not know that I've seen any recently updated. I used one back in version 10 but I do not know about 11 or 12.

I had the idea after reading a story someone posted of fan-fiction in the general forums. "Fan Fiction - Factorio Story - Chapters 1 through 6"

While I was reading this I had the thought of the movie Pitch Black and there being 3 suns so the days stay day a very long time but then when it does go night it stays night quite a while. So imagine a long day and a long night. Lore being like Pitch Black or whatever else. Accumulators you could still do but would require a LOT more when it does go night time. On top of that having mods that have varying light levels for lamps and such would be awesome as well. So you would want to really push for the larger lamps (more expensive) for when it goes night a long time.

Thoughts on this idea? :)

To add to this, what if certain days were longer and then as the night would go by it would only go a little dark but then as the days got shorter the nights got longer and darker. To the point that it gets to a really long and dark night.

This mod allows you to increase the length of day/night by setting a multiplier for each. Default setting is 3x day/night but can be manually set in the config file.
The multiplier can only be set to an integer multiple of the original value (vanilla = 3.5min, x2 = 7min, x3 = 10.5min, ...) and it's not possible to shorten the day/night.
