[0.18.34] game allows higher request then trash

I had an item set to have between 1 and 5 items (i will denote this 1-5) in my inventory and set it to have (1-0) items in my inventory.
This confused the bots as they started taking me items and then taking them back as they immediately get trashed (similar to what they did in version 0.17 if you requested something you had autotrashed)
i expected it to be set to 0-0
Detailed steps:
0) have the logistics research
1) in the logistics tab in the inventory left click on an empty slot
2) chose an item (ex: gears)
3) type in the request side a number between 1 and half a stack
4) click and drag the autotrash side of the slider bar and slide it down to 0
5) click the green checkbox to confirm
6) done
