personally i was ok with the couple of wheels as an "engine unit". What had always bothered me is how you need a combustion engine to make an electric engine, but whatever, i don't mind that much.
It never made sense. But I wish the same was true of other items as well like furnaces and armor. At least as an alternate recipe.
What i do mind is how slowdown capsules are smaller than poison capsules......... but apparently nobody else noticed this??
I didn't but I hate combat and never use capsules I'm mutt normal play. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the utility of distractors when I used them in my "for beginners" series. I was then unpleasantly surprised by the rest of the capsules' lack of utility for me.

The new engine icon is excellent! It and the electric motor really have the right feel to their names now.

Yeah, it wasn't appropriate for the engine all by itself, but it was really nicely made!

Sorry for the CDN trouble, been rolling over some certs, should be fine now
Speaking of certs...

At least when 1.0 comes around, will y'all begin signing the executable so Windows won't call it a scary unknown file? (And, more importantly, so we know it hasn't been tampered with when we download it and install it.)
Has Wube thought about maybe providing package repositories for Linux distributions?
They're usually signed, too, and make updating a breeze.

This is how an engine looks like, great!
Also nice Integration of the original design.

Guys, just wanna say thank you for this amazing game. The game is soooo smart, so beautiful. I think this is the best business sim i've ever seen. From starting work hard you achieve automatization step by step. It's game is way more than just a game. And this is the top-1 game, that i would let my kids play for sure. THANKS! And i really believe that is actually Alpha build. I dont see any reason to call it like early accesss game.

We don't plan to use this icon anywhere.

I knew all along that it doesn't represent an engine properly, but I also knew that it's a nice looking icon by itself. I didn't consider that because it's nice, people could get attached to it quickly :D

The obvious solution is to turn the engine recipe into two components: timing belt + engine block ;)

With 20 extra steps for creating rubber and other little pieces.

Just put bob+angels into vanilla for 1.0 and walk away from the explosion.

  • Added support to manually set several paths through the config.ini [path] file. 'saves', 'scenarios', 'mods', 'archive', and 'script-output'
What is the archive variable for?
I also would like to know...
