Let's celebrate for version 0.(2^(2^2)).((10^2)/2)

Such a nice and round version number
(where, as a programmer, "round" is mostly defined as having to do something with the number "2"
)

"2" is the loveliest number of them all. All things should come in powers of 2.

I'm sure that's the final preparation to 0.17 version
0.16 is the longest versions of factorio - it resembles a polished gemstone

I agree 1100100 % with that sentiment.

Any chance that this build will be "promoted" as the new 0.16 "stable" ?
There are many fixes over 0.16.36

That probably depends on how "stable" it is. If the devs decide there is no need to push a new version to fix other bugs in the next week, then there is a chance they will promote it to stable.

Only 49 to go until they run out of version numbers and must release 0.17 \o/.

There's nothing wrong with 0.16.101 as far as software versioning goes...

They might use 64-bit unsigned integers for the patch level. So only 8e18 version numbers until they switch to arbitrary precision integers or strings. Well, thinking about it - they probably already use strings for the whole version number...

WOW! That was really a nice calculation. You are looking at everything in the form of binary(2). Are you from Matrix?
