Holding a blueprint in my cursor since this update and FPS/UPS drops like a stone down a deep deep deep deep deep well. (From 60 to 13). Q key to release blueprint from cursor fixes UPS.

Update is possible cause?

There seems to be a version mismatch:
  • most recent Steam version is 0.16.48, build 36630
  • most recent non-Steam version on Linux (factorio_alpha_x64_0.16.48.tar.xz) is 0.16.48, build 36625
This is blocking me to connect to the multiplayer server. :(

I also have this. 4 UPS when holding a blueprint. Tried disabling all mods and still have the same thing. My map is rather large which may or may not be relevant.

EDIT : On a much smaller map the problem doesn't seem to happen.... Also very small blurprints don't trigger it on the large map..... (eg roboport+power pole)

Same issue for me, blueprints are not workable atm, also deconstruction filters are not working correctly..

I did a fresh complete download of "factorio_alpha_x64_0.16.48.tar.xz" and now the build number is correct: 36630. :)
Seems to be a problem with the differential update which brought me 36625.

This confirmed. The more wires the blueprint has, the less fps do we get. A blueprint with 12 wires already halts the game. Rolling back to previous version until you fix that :(

Not experiencing lag with blueprints, but some of them don't appear at all when they're in the cursor and can't be placed - anyone else?

Check in task manager that no factorio.exe process is running. Windows can't delete files of currently executing processes.
