Hmm, I changed red-desert-rock-medium from decorative to entity and forgot. I haven't expected to have it any effect on generation of other entities. I'll rollback the change. We can leave it for 0.16

Warning icon for logistic chests that are not in a reach of roboport.
Train stop names are rendered at 45 degrees to better show names.

There will be "show-train-stop-names-at-angle" in config.ini in 0.15.29, but it won't be exposed in game GUI yet.

Maybe it can be set individually for each trainstop in the trainstop UI ?

Maybe an option so that we can click on the train stop, and using the mouse wheel, we can rotate the angle? :lol:

How about we do 22.5 degree train stops so it doesn't mess up people's diagonal or straight stations? (note: this might mess them both up but hopefully not.)

Setting it up per train stop would be the best. Instead of stuffed away in some settings page or config file.

You see how different trainstops can be build so horizontal is sometimes bad und 45° is sometimes bad, but one of this two Options help in 99% of all layouts I think.

I agree to Optera's idea.

There is no "one size fits all"-solution anyways for the labels because of the way parallel stops are oriented either horizontally or vertically.

The 45° Solution might seem like a compromise but it is just "urgh" to look at... Feels unnatural.

Definitely display angle should be a stop specific option and not a general one.

agreed per train stop is the better option. i don't mind the 45, but having the option to have horizontal, vertical, or 45 in each train stop individually would allow for the maximum configurability and flexibility to different play styles, and layout situations.

Funny how many like a proposal i made more as an ironic joke. :lol:
Train stop ui is pretty cluttered already, but all current options have impact on train operation. A field just for stop name orientation feels out of place.

The sane approach is to have the render detect overlapping text and place it accordingly.
Modern 3d engines detect overlapping leaves and place shadows accordingly, so performance shouldn't be the issue. Especially as these texts are static and change only on stop build/removal or rename.
