Does this mean I should uninstall RSO?

This is happening to me too. My steam account name is "ihcn"

  • Added /color command, so changing color doesn't require access to lua commands.
If I will use this command to set my color, will I lose my steam-achievements?

If not, what is correct writing for this command? Give please examples.

e.g. the color of the locomotive can be set from within the train setup - no lula commands required

Looks excellent, great job!

Few nitpicks:

Why was the color of filter inserter changed? I kinda got used to the green ones.

Enemies are now less picky where to build their bases - I loaded my old save and I was surprised, so a bit of warning for others. :-)

What about the 8-legged surprise? It seems it was postponed, but it doesn't matter too much to me, just wondering.

The new stack upgrade bonuses for normal inserters break my plans to use single belt for many different items, because they fill the belt capacity too quickly. But I can workaround that by merging with splitters, I think.

I don't understood you.
I want to change color of character, not color of locomotive.

Morning all,

I know this is really cheeky but do you think there will be a stable version by the weekend? I've waited this long so I'm keen to wait for the first stable release. Just curious as to when people think that might be?

So excited to try this out, my girlfriend is quite pissed at me since she believes I speak better of this game than her... it's not true of course, but I can see where she's coming from! hahaha

Thanks!

Yay, it's there :-)

After downloading the update with the auto-updater, it's now asking me again for my username/PW. I clicked cancel 'cause I saw lazy, but looking at the settings, it seems it just forgot my old configuration.
Should such bugs get a dedicated thread or so?

You don't need to wait for stable release, just wait for all your mods to get patched and several waves of bugs to get fixed . . . starting playing on weekend is pretty good decision imo.

I bought the game on GOG, does anyone know why the update isn't live there or how/if could I get a copy from here with the GOG purchase?

They're probably waiting on a stable version before pushing it to GOG since it doesn't have the option of experimental builds.

I thought so as well, but I was hoping I could activate a copy here and bypass GOG's "cautious approach", but the faq only mentions Steam, so maybe that's not possible. Oh, well, hopefully I won't have to wait too long.

I didn't even know this game was on GOG. I mean, the name is "Good Old Games", and Factorio is so new it's not even finished yet, so it wouldn't even cross my mind to look there for it.

October 2014 - Factorio 0.11.0 published as experimental
April 2015 - Factorio 0.11.22 published as stable

July 2015 - Factorio 0.12.0 published as experimental
December 2015 - Factorio 0.12.20 published as stable

So expect a 6 month wait.

The auto updater failed to work when migrating from 0.12 to 0.13
I re installed from the dev. website. So far ok (besides that the mod section is broken)
We duly hope that the updater 0.13.0 to 0.13.1 will be working - otherwise there will be a lot of trouble as everyone (having that problem - and many have) needs to reinstall from scratch
