On the main page (factorio.com), the rocket at the bottom of the screen has either a scaling issue or positioning issue when hovered over and playing the gif. It appears slightly to the right of the static rocket that is there when not hovered over. It is also lower resolution but that is understandable with it being a on-hover gif.

Post a screenshot and what browser, version and OS are you using. Rocket on-hover works fine for me.
