I don't know what happened, I un and re instilled the game because of it but im still getting an error report when I try to run the game. any ideas on how to fix this? I included the mods folder that i was using but i dont think thats the problem.

Post the dump please, its in the same directory as the log.
Try if deactivating steam overlay works.

It seems to crash outside factorio.
Try disabling any overlays(steam overlay, graphics card overlay, discord overlay) or anything that might be injecting into the game(antivirus, trainers, cheat engine). Also try updating your drivers.

If the issue persists you will need to share the minidump(factorio-dump-current.dmp) file so we can see where it crashes.
