Hi,

I recently encountered an error when logging in with steam. Error in image

Steps tried to solve the problem:
- Restart steam
- Verify game files
- Restart factorio

I think i have lost the log file as i am now reinstalling factorio. I will post one if it still happens

Thank you. This seems like it might be a problem with your DNS server. Are you able to open https://auth.factorio.com/hello-world in your browser? It should say "Hello world".

Okay, I switch back from using Google DNS to my default ISP server however I am still getting that error and not being able to access the mod portal or multiplayer.

I'm not sure why your game is not resolving those domains. Does https://auth.factorio.com/hello-world work for you? I'd like to know if this is system-wide.

The link you sent me works. It still gives the error when using the latest version
