Hi,

Got the game yesterday. Lots of potential... I created a game, it generated a map. I had the usual resources.
Then, late in the game one of my iron mine was empty. Went to the other iron ore mine (it was silverish color
on the main map and the mini map.) Started mining... I was getting coal instead of iron

Screenshot? Sounds like there was probably some coal in the iron patch.

After 6-7 hours of play I deleted my saved files. Sorry I have no picture. I am pretty sure there was not a patch
of coal underneath my iron ( or mixed with it.)

Hi, I havent heard of a problem like that in the game and the code for resources didn't change for a long time, this means that either it is PEBKAC, or a really well hidden bug. Anyway we're gonna need at least map exchange string or better the whole save with instructions. Without it I don't see how we could replicate the problem. Sorry. I'm moving this into pending, if anyone finds an example of this, please post the save here or create a new thread.

Well hidden bug. The only thing I did different when I generated the map, was to modify the resources "frequency" for rocks to high instead of normal. If I get the same bug what would you need ? (dxdiag and/or screenshot ) ?

Could you upload the save file?

I've seen the same issue on the steam forums, are you maybe trying to unload a burner drill using an inserter?

Yes, apparently the inserters pull the fuel from the drill. By placing a chest in between the drill and the inserter, the 'problem' was solved. Thanks for your help all ...
