Aliens stopped attacking [0.17.58]

Not sure what I did to cause this but I'll try to explain it to the best of my knowledge.

When the aliens go for an attack towards my base there is a water mass that gets in their way of their planned attack route, this causes only a trickle of biters to attack at a time. After some time due to the hordes numbers the remaining biters, I guess the AI freezes up and they just stand still doing nothing (not even turning or doing any type of idle movement).

I believe if you go directly to the right there's a group frozen already.
