The game crashes to desktop when trying to pick up a pump from my inventory and I attempt to drag it off the inventory screen or close my inventory in any way (including shortcuts). I have a stack of two of them. I have placed pumps in this world before. Everytime I load that world since having them in my inventory it crashes without fail.

Post the log with the crash please, in this one you did not even load a game.

Idk what happened, uploading again, this one is right after the crash dialogue.

I tried all three saves and could grab pump from inventory and drag it off the inventory window or close the inventory without any problem.
Could you please upload factorio-dump-previous.dmp? (it is in the same folder as log file)

Sure, I did play a different save after getting frustrated with it though, Im not sure if that will change things.

Open Factorio properties in Steam library and verify integrity of game files. From the dump it looks to me like your executable is corrupted. Can you build pumps on other maps?

I have verified game files and tried a different world. Still crashes. I also tried crafting a new pump and had the same crash. Im not sure how the logs work but this should be from the crash in a different world.

Can you take a screenshot of the game window when it's in the crashed state and upload it here?

Or if you're willing when it crashes open task manager, right click factorio.exe and click "create dump" then compress and upload that somewhere (dropbox/onedrive/other) and put a link here?

Its working today. No idea what changed, I didnt restart my pc or change anything afaik. Super weird.
