I'm using the latest 16.03 build on Ubuntu 16.04. When playing Factorio in fullscreen mode, switching between virtual desktops will occasionally cause Factorio to completely lock up. When this happens, it won't accept keyboard/mouse input and everything comes to a halt. After a few minutes, it goes to a completely black screen.
Interestingly, right-clicking > quit factorio in the launcher doesn't actually kill it, and I have to resort to a "killall -9 factorio" in a terminal. When I kill it this way, nothing shows up in the logs. Even more interesting, I often have to restart Steam in order to relaunch factorio.
Let me know how I can get working logs or crash reports, and in the meantime I'm happy to never switch away from factorio.
