Log is attached. I was also getting this error when saving:

Saving scenario failed: ElectricNetworkSerialiser::getEnergySourceIndex, the energy source was not saved.

Whatever the problem was, restarting Factorio and reloading from my save file fixed it.

That sounds like something went seriously wrong. Do you have any way to reproduce the errors/crashing?

Have you tried running a memory test on your computer? http://www.memtest.org/
